I am shipping two large decals. 6 feet x 30 inches. should I roll it to the inside or roll it to the outside to put it in the box?

Roll image out!
Rolling image in will produce Dog ears!
And if the image sits around to long...It will retain this memory!
How is vinyl rolled?
Best side out.

Thanks for the help guys. That was what I was thinking. All this time and I have never had to ship out large decals. Thanks again.

Hiya Ryan,
Like the guys said, vinyl facing out.
When rolling graphics, banners or any media that has layers, the thinner media gets rolled on the outside.
The theory behind this is the thinner material is more flexible and forgiving and less likely to tunnel.

Havin' fun,

Yep, roll it out.. but something that large I usually ship it in a larger box to avoid rolling it too tightly, like a box that a 50yd roll came in.

I think 3M's spec say to roll image out......wrapped around a 6" diameter core. Thats how all my stuff comes from Gregory anyway.
