Good Morning!

I 've got the Banner, what is the material?? I see a touch of paint ...Sedor Signs Rag Doll and Stephen and Steve....Nice outlining Steve!!

Is it enamel receptive? I hope to use One Shot, or Deka, (limited colours tho.)

Anyway, replies welcome.

I played it safe and assumed it was NOT enamel receptive. Remember spraying on a coat of 1-Shot clear before putting the paint to it.

John

I supplied the Banner Material.

It is called TYPAR a better grade of Tyvek.

As Steve said...Scrub lightly with scotchpad,Spray with One-Shot clear and off to the races you go!
Letter with One Shot with a touch of hardner added....

ND Graphics carrys this product.

When I started this banner run from (Halifax N.S.) I wanted to use something light weight to keep the cost down for shipping from place to place.
So be slap happy with a brush if you want too!
[Cool]

Hello folks.

The banner material we supplied is called "TYPAR" and it is indeed enamel receptive. I kinda wish we had supplied something else because it is so darned ugly (IMHO) -- especially with our circa 1970's logo on it. The good news is that it has been adorned by so many talented people that you don't really see the banner material itself, so much.

When I started this project this was the Logo giving to myself..
ND Graphics new logo was underway so this was all I had to work with!

So what else do you expect!
Jeff and I talked about it.

Stephen:

I'm grateful to you that ND GRAPHICS had the opportunity to be so closely associated with this project. My comments concerning our logo (an the choice of banner material, for that matter) are NOT directed at you, my friend. I just can't help but wish that timing had been such that our current logo (then still in the works) couldn't have appeared on the banner.
