A surprised painter that frequents this site, saw a mural she did on the cover page of a section of the newspaper.

Here is a bedroom wall Adrienne did for my daughter. We love it! There is a hippo parachuting through the sky and a sea gull turning its head in amazement,

Surprised again!! Yeah, I did this interview, along with 2 other artists for an article on a local artists' website: Artists Of the Olympic Peninsula (I'm listed under wildlife artists) And gave the Editor a couple of pics, not expecting her to even include them...so I was a bit surprised, but thrilled, nontheless!
I'm just hoping I get a few calls off of it!!
The picture in the lower corner is my rainforest mural, done 3 years ago for a kid's room in CA. Rainforest Mural

I took a look at your web site Adrienne. The murals are incredible. What is your favorite kind of paint for an indoor mural? BTW you have the rainforest mural listed as taking 10 days on the page showcasing it and listed as taking 20 days on the pricing page - might want to check into that. Great work.

WHOOOPS!!! Although the job only took me 10-12 days, I figure it SHOULD have taken me longer!!
If I was to do the same job again I would take longer.
Thanks, I'll adjust that.
I use acrylics, I prefer Nova brand acrylics NOVA ACRYLICS

I'm just about speechless, Adrienne! Your stuff's GREAT! Will you be going to the Walldog event in Atlanta, IL in July? I'd love to talk to you about business. I'm now doing the same type of work here in Atlanta, GA area. But I'm just getting started again. It would be neat to swap stories/info with you.

Thanks Nancy!!
Sorry, not likely as I'm working hard at building up my clients here and it looks like I will be moving soon (need a space to work in).
But....feel free to email me anytime or give me your number and I'll call you on my cel on the weekends if it's ok (free unlimited on weekends)
Only meet I have planned to attend (so far this year) is the one Susan is hosting in Sept in Nanaimo, BC.
Next year I may be going to more meets (I hope!)

Adrie, what a cool thing! That news spread is the ticket huh!? Free ads! Makes them yellow pages such a waste! 'Roud here excitement's so rare an' the paper's so thin you can call 'em to come photo-shoot white-washin' a fence! LOL! Make sure you get to edit the copy that goes with yer work... I got to restore a historic ceiling covered in an elaborate Jewish painting of the four wind directs. They managed to get part of it in the paper an' part of my elbow in the paper as I was paintin',layin' on a scaffold 18" from the ceiling. The note they attached to the pic said: "Sheila Ferrell spends a lot of time on her back these days.........." ....

Very incredible work A.! I've admired any mural stuff you posted in the past, but I think this was the first time I made it to your website. I loved the rainforest mural, the mural progress reports, & the music which I am still playing.
