Been playing with sign shine epoxy. Like it alot, mixing with colors to arrive at marble effects. Main question is has anyone used it over vinyl with bad effects, ie lifting or doing anything weird to the vinyl? I want to put it over gold imitation leaf. Also I tried mixing gold paint with the shine and it separated turning green. I mixed gold bronzing powder and it worked great. Thanks for the help Tom

I've used it a little and was told not to use the metallics as they will get a oxidize, tarnish look and end up looking dull.

I use the accudome product which is a clear resin that can go over any vinyl surface, I've even used it on signgold with some spectacular results... I'll show some pics if you're interested... the only problem is that you can only do clear... no coloring allowed.. you could however use krylon on vinyl then dome it..
hmm. new project for tonight i think... hehehe

Dave I would think that sealing the vinyl with epoxy would keep the surface isolated from the elements. Am always interested in looking at good stuff. Post something.....thanks
