Anyone used the aluminum composite material Alpolic from Mitsubishi? It comes in an array of colors. I received a sample box today, quite imprssive.

i received my box too...i wish it was less expensive and more easily available up heee-a in the north country. i suppose if i had a big hotel to do i would definitely be interested in using it...i will keep it in mind for future projects for sure. bob stephens knows more about it...he's a great source of information!

I've used it for about two decades. I love the stuff! I wish more distributors stocked it. I have paid some hefty shipping costs over the years to get it. Dibond is cheaper and more readily available, although I like Alpolic better.

Alpolic also has a line of metal finishes, mirrored and otherwise, under the trade name "A Look". I think the mirror metals are for interior use only.

So where does one go to get one of these sample boxes?

Wrisco in Atlanta has a limited supply but you need to call and check first. I spoke with a sales rep named Robert who was very helpful.

As mentioned earlier. availability is the big issue but the material is hands down excellent. I would make every sign from it if I could.
