Why do these things happen when you really need to do something ASAP. I tried re-booting, re-loading the software and still I have no menu. Help.Please.

Open corel draw, hit ctrl-J this should bring up the options dialogue box. Goto >customization>command bars , ensure the Menu Bar is checked.

Holding F8 while opening coreldraw should have reset all settings to factory defaults, it's strange it didn't.

Thanks - you are right. I guess I had to press F8 before I launched instead while it was launching in order for it to work.
I appreciate the help!

Jean I bet if you take a hammer to it, or a chain saw perhaps, it would change it's tune! Damn computers!
