We have a number of 6x6.5x.25 glass signs that are glued to 3 short plastic rods about .5 in dia. These rods are glued to the window next to the door. The problem is that lately they have been coming down. 3 have broken and they are not cheep to replace. I have tried super glue, some have stayed and others have come down. Does anyone have any ideas for gluing these signs to the window?

2 Part Epoxies. the only way to go. There available at Most Good Hardware Stores or Fasteners Store. Works for me.

try Gorilla Glue also available at hardware stores.

You might also try Rear veiw mirror Glue it holds like a banshe and is clear. Available at your auto supply store

Raymond- I'm a firm believer in "Lexall"- it's clear, comes in small tubes (or caulking size), inexpensive, and after 24 hours it's not coming down or off. I clamp or tape overnight. I use it on anything that needs to be permanent. If you're working on glass though and have a need to remove it, it can be broken off and then razor-bladed to remove the bits and pieces and your solvent should clean the surface perfectly. Any other surface- forget it! I get Lexall at ACE Hardware but I'm sure it's available everywhere. It's a terrific product- much better than Gorilla Glue (which I used exclusively until the ACE manager gave me a tube of Lexall just to try). Just my 2 cents worth. why not clear pure silicone. it is the best adhesive and is a vibration damper and flexible. you'll just have to hold it in place while the silicone sets with tape.
