Hi,
I ordered 12 DOT numbers. Each 4 in. by 16in. The price from my supplier was $8 ea. plus $11 shipping. $96 minus ship. I figured if I made these in vinyl(numbers on top of white) I would price them at $12 ea. Well, I ordered them and marked them up to that point. My customer balked at the total saying a big shop in S.L.C. could do them for $3 ea. Well, I dropped my markup and he agreed to pay what I paid for them.
My Supplier says they are wholesale to the trade but I have thought not for some time now. This seems retail to me! I am asking whether what I figure to be a 15 min. job using my file and 4 ft. of material and a little black ink could result in a $95 charge. Wholesale? I think not.

Jerry, are these Edge prints or something else?

Our standard Edge printed wholesale for what you describe, a one color print on HP vinyl, would price out at $5.36 each. And we would also advise you that if you dropped the width to 3 7/8" the price would drop to $3.57 each due to the greatly reduced waste in running them at that size.

Hi Fred,
I don't know what they printed with. It's Gregory inc. High. How about 450 for a digital backlit-2 layers I applied to Lexan. 40in.X 120in.

That one's outside the scope of what we do so I can't say. Why is it two layers? Is it a digital print or overlaid vinyls?
