years ago...I made a light up sign that spanned the front od a local saloon. the sign was about 24" tall....28 feet long. I used a translucent material that was white. It had fiberglass cast into it for reinforcement. It was quite thin but very stong... I cant remember the name of the pruduct.. Id like to find some..if its still made. I want a one piece face...dont like seams on lite-ups... any body help me?

How about useing "lexan" you can get it cut however long you want. I think the smallest width is 48" so there will be alot of drop,but you can save for another job. Only problem is that heat and cold changes the face size lots.If you have 1"retainers you might have a problem with the face popping out over a 28ft.face.

Sign white come in roll or they cut the size.

My ballot goes with Jimmy. It was probably Filon, which is a fiberglas/nylon material with an acrylic coating to make it solvent weldable. I have not used it in years, I do not know if it is still available.
I did a theater marquee out of it one time and walked about with my arms outstretched for days, looking like a scarecrow because of all the fiberglas dust that got in the air and under my skin. Be sure to use a good mask and wear long sleeves when cutting this stuff.
