Just read that the Long Beach City Council is considering signing a deal with an Irvine company called Signs of Support to sell advertisments on the back of city vehicles, mostly pick up trucks. The company recruits the advertisers, who pay $110 a month plus installation costs for the space. The company then splits the revenue with the city. Lyn Bunch, the president of the company said business has been going well. He said that people are well aware that the cities need the money. He already has similar deals with several other cities and the counties of Orange and San Diego. This is way out of my league but thought there might be others out there who find this interesting. What do you think?
