I want to change my answer but I'm not sure what category it would be... perhaps, getting what I ordered!
The other day I got an order for some stuff in a color I don't normally stock (I have limited room and I can get stuff the day after I order it, so I just keep basics). I needed a little under 10 yards and it isn't a normal color, so I just ordered a 10 yard roll. I'm trying to finish up my cutting last night so I don't need to hook back up to cutter for 2 numbers and I found the &*^% splice. I ordered quantity 1 (one, uno) 10-yard roll. I did NOT order 2(two, more than 1) 5 yard rolls taped together! Luckily I caught it in time, stopped and re-arranged what I had left to do and managed to save the job, but jeez... how about getting what I ordered?
I guess it could've been worse, I could've got 10 1-yard rolls.
Course, they could have a warning sticker on it that there's a splice so happy cutting....
I'm done ranting, back to work.

Chris, I would have to agree, a warning sticker on rolls that have been spliced would be nice.
I don't mind a splice if I know it is there and can work around it.
