Hi John Using VMP since version 1.5 now up to latest and using win 2k. Best program for the money and no real problems. It probably does more than I have yet to learn. can't go wrong here.There is plenty of good support also. Ernie

Just recently acquired a version myself and I'm sure I'll be asking lots of questions as soon as I have time to install it!! Too busy right now to worry about it. I know it's an awesome program. John, I've been using it for a couple of years.
One of my only dislikes is there are alot of duplicate fonts with weird names. They condense or extend or slant a font and call it a separate font. I keep only the regular font and 86 the rest. I can extend, condense or itailisize the original. Takes up a lot less room as well. The 5000 fonts they claim is really 1000-1500 fonts, realisticly.
It is a fairly easy program to use, although some people don't like the cutting module as it has a lot of steps. It is somewhat like Corel, more than other sign programs and I like that.
I wish it had moveable-deleteable guidelines though.

I noticed it has alot of steps in the cutting process. I first had problems with setting the page size or vinyl size. Cutter would just sit there and look at me. Got that figured out though. Whewwww. I like learning new programs though, and this one seems to be a real winner. I played with the demo for a couple weeks before buying. Im satisfied with it completely right now. I have been using it for over 3 years now and have had no real problems to date. There are a few things I'd like to see added to it,(minor stuff) I can't judge it against other software out there because it's all I've used since starting my biz. I like it, and ditto on it being sort of like Corel. I like vector editing in VMP over Corel.

I use VMP...and Im satisfied Robert..there are guides avilable....guides on the job page and in node edit... node edit in VMP is loaded with nice features. Nice trace module....too and to cut...I simply select and click auto cut....couldnt be easier.. a fast click to the spooler Im sure Shaun will post answers to these questions.. He always promptly answers my emails in a timely manner... Good product...all the way around

I'm a new user here. I think it is a great program. I have had Flexi for 8 years and use it as my main program but bought VMP for my laptop because it has no dongle. I keep it registered on my laptop and run the non-cutting version on my main PC. I would like to see them do something different with their distort module but other than that, I love it. Tech support has been great.

I use VMP...and so far I've been very, very happy with it. You can set the program so that you can view and not new the guidelines. As for the steps involved in cutting, once you get on to it you will become very easy.

Michael Boone, I use the guides a lot, I was refering to being able to move or delete them like Corel. I haven't found a way to get rid of them other than copying the whole design to a new page.
Jeffery, how do you turn off the guides? I have V2.0
I too like the node editing program, although I usually scan & trace in Corel first and import into VMP, for some reason I haven't gotten the hang of the scan/trace in VMP.
Overall a great program.

Robert, to remove the guide lines just grab a hold of them with the mouse and move them off the page. - Presto, they dissapear- too easy Also, if anyone has problems here is the place to ask... web page
