I just wanted to share this with you guys. I asked my daughter to draw a picture to send to my grandma her great grandma for her birthday. She decided to draw a house with windows, grass, flowers, sun, door and colored bricks!!
Then she asked me how to write on the back. All I did was tell her how to spell the words!! She'll be designing signs for me in no time!!

Gosh Amy, not only is she talented and pretty, but she is very bright. It is far from average for a 3 and 1/2 yr. old to write so well! Be proud Mama!

Simply adorable Amy. I know you're just amazed at what all she has already learned in such a short time on earth. She has a good eye, and lots of potential, just like you said, a great understudy for you! Thanks for posting it, reminds me of days long gone by.

Great stuff!!
When my kids were little I encouraged them to do lots of wonderfully imaginative drawings. They were always in my studio!
And I saved most of these drawings. hey were done on off-cuts of matboard (I Framed my own pictures) I framed the kid's art too, double matted and under glass.
Today 22 years later they are among my (and theirs too)most prized possessions and still hang proudly in our homes.
I look forward to doing the same with my grandkid's work when they come along too!

Yes, I must admit that I am quite impressed with my baby! I have a huge plastic box of everything she's ever drawn, written, painted, glued, etc. Never thought of framing any of them. Good idea Dan!
Thanks for all the kind words!
