this just in! Paul Bunyon at the route 66 meet! It seems this Paul Bunyon figure is headed for a new home in Atlanta IL. and will be erected in the park directly in front of the "big wall" project we will be doing at this years meet. This is cool!

Looks like ol' Paul likes sticking that big weenie in those big buns... I would definately be concerned... LOL! That look on his face is scary, too... a little TOO excited for me... hahahahahahahahaha!

Notice that his hands are not in the correct position for holding the hot dog... (one hand up and the other hand down)
Was this from holding the axe originally?
Maybe take out the hot dog and put a huge paint roller with a long reach pole attached.

Is the weanie stuck to him? Maybe something else could be put in place of it. If he's standing in front of a themed mural, maybe something to complement it. Althought I have no problem seeing a man holding his..his...... ohh yess.

I can't remember if I learned this on the Route 66 yahoo group or from Bill Thomas, but originally "the big guy" held a muffler and when he was bought by this family for their hot dog stand.....wouldn't you have loved to be the sign guy when the owners came in your shop and said "Yes, we need a 8 foot hot dog for our giant!"
