Hi Letterville,

I just heard some very bad news. Rick Glawson passed away this morning from a massive stroke. Tod Swormstedt sent us an e-mail just now letting us know; I don't have any other details. Lola (his assistant) has asked that no one call the shop.

I've only met him a few times, and I feel a real sense of loss. I can only imagine how this impacts those of you that knew him well.

We're going to devote an article to him in our May issue. If anyone has any anecdotes or comments they'd like to recount for the article, please respond directly to me at (513) 421-2050, ext. 308 or steve.aust@stmediagroup.com.

I'm sorry to bear such bad tidings. I guess the best thing anyone can do is pray for his loved ones and remember and celebrate his life, work and spirit.

Thanks,

Steve Aust

What terrible news. We have lost one of the best. No words now can express my feelings. Only tears.

Wow, this news hit hard.

What a void it leaves.

I'm lost for words.

Rick was a Letterhead through and through. It is a sad day.

He was a gentle giant in this business.

Our thoughts and prayers go to Lola & all those who know and love him.

I feel like someone just punched me hard and all the wind was taken out of me.

I also have no words.

What great great loss.

This is sad...he will be missed by so very many here.

I've enjoyed two Conclave meets. Rick was probably the most kind and gentle person I've ever met.

Rick was also a brother in the Lord. He's walking on gold now.

"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints" ps 116:15

See you in Glory, Rick.

I am stunned...trembling stunned.

My thoughts are with Lola.

I have maybe a dozen pics of Rick, but this is one of my favorites....
