Charlie and Trixie, the two most adorable Jack Russle Terriers on the planet!!!!! To bad I don't have a picture on the web to post, I may have to do something about that tomorrow, so you guys can see just how cute these guys are!

One time my family asked about getting a Jack Russell. My comment was that I don't want a dog that is smarter than me and knows it.

We get quite a few JRTs coming through the shelter. We don't often have many small dogs, so people have a tendency of grabbing them up quickly, without having a clue what they're getting themselves in to (heck, why do you think they were surrendered to us in the first place?)
One of my favorite lines to use on a person thinking about adopting a JRT...
"Living with a JRT is like living in a pinball machine!"

I've heard rumors about border collies driving their owners crazy....guess that explains it!
My dog actually 'made the bed', 'bout a month ago... flipped over the covers, rolled over and groaned something like "wub my tummy".
Seriously, Miss Bailey-Wags never ceases to amaze me with her intellegence and sense of humor.
Janet is correct..It's good to have a dog!!

That actually applies to ALL terriers! My dog Rizzo is the same way, but she's a mix of Wire-haired terrier and Spitz.. so I got a pinball machine combined with an overprotective barker!
