That is where they are generating from. Their contact information is bogus. The website says they are in Taiwan somewhere and when you send emails to their tech suppoert they bounce back.
I get this about 20 times per day and wondered if anyone else is.
Ugghh!

Hey Curtis,
Yes, they are using email aliases from my websites email forwarding ie: info@ambodesign.com sales@ambodesign.com, etc.
I wish I know how to stop it. Any ideas??

Make sure relaying is disabled on your mail server.

I have the same (or similar) problem. The 2 biggest problem senders are "postmaster@bizmailsrvcs.com" which is always a message like yours, saying that the message "I" sent to XXXX@OOOO.com was undeliverable due to...
The other one is "abuse@bizmailsrvcs.com" saying that the message "I" sent contained the KLEZ virus, & was bounced back for that reason.
Both of these "senders" are branches of Verizon & are auto-responder generated emails.
The true source of the problem is that my daughter had a bad habit of forwarding jokes, etc. to me & everyone in her addy book. her 10 friends recieved the mass mailed joke with my addy in the "send to" area, then they all forwarded to their 10 friends, who forwarded it ... Anyway, somewhere down the chain, someone got their computer infected with the virus & my addy was harvested. Now the virus re-generates itself around the world with all the addys it harvested substituting them into the "to:" & "from:" areas. So whatever attempts to infect other computers via email are made "in your name" may bounce back to you if they are caught by virus protection at the server level. Also all the other victems of this virus trouble that cancelled their addys will now have mail to those addy's bounce back due to no longer being a valid addy.
In Outlook, under mail-Rules, you can set-up your OE to automatically send any mail from specific address's into your delete folder. You can also automatically set it up to empty that folder whenever you close or re-open the program. I have been plaqued with hundreds of emails by those 2 addy's above until last month when I set up Outlook like described. Now I hardly know it's happening, so it bugs me a lot less.

Hey Mike,
Thanks for the tip. I wasn't even aware that my host had advanced settings for email forwarding. I now only have three allowable aliases.

We awoke this morning to find 7,400 pieces of mail in our mailbox. It was all addresed to letterhead.com, but with different names in front of the @.
We called our provider back in Ontario and they said we were the victims of a "denial of service" attack. I asked them to dump the whole 25 meg of mail in the mailbox. If you have tried to e-mail us from Monday at midnight, we'll probally not get your message. Please send it again.

I'm getting some strange emails like that too Steve. For example I got a whole bunch of them that all said they came from different names - eg: bare99-99, hoo1, the messages are directed to support@kel-t-grafix.com, administration@kel-t-grafix.com, tech@kel-t-grafix.com etc. The messages are all similar "11347test,no replay,please73","24554 test, no replay, please31" Any idea what they are about? We thought maybe it was someone collecting web addresses to sell or something.

they sound like attempts to hijack ye remail system to spamm.
My web server and email server was hijacked last fall. for over 3 hours the full 256k bandwidth was jammed with emails goign out.
The host is now invloved in a multi million lawsuit against the perp.

:0 Glad to help Amy.
Only reason I knew about it is because the same thing happened to me last fall.

Geez....the things people come up with.
Is there anything that can be done to stop these people?
