We are happy to anounce that we are now a merchant here at Letterville!!!
First a little background on myself, then I'll tell you about our company.
I am first and foremost a Letterhead, I love signs and everything about this business (well almost everything)
I have been in the sign business since 1986, when my father and myself went to my uncle's house and got introduced to the world of a sign painter, we bought our first colors of one shot, a few brushes, and started practicing...alot of practicing, and have been at it ever since.
Some of you may know me from my posts as Signs by Shawn, if you look back through my posts you'll see that signs are my life. We still own and operate our sign company here in Troy, MO and plan to for many years to come.
I feel our background in signs has helped us in our effort to make SignShapes.com a reality. I know it will help us in making it a usefull merchant for everyone here at Letterville.
Now about SignShapes.com We feel that we are the most cost effective sign shape manufacturer on the market, as well as having the highest quality, <--We might be a little biased...
What we feel makes us different than other manufacturer out there in the production of sign shapes is our background in the sign industry. What makes us the most cost effective is one simple thing, we do not outsource anything other than the substrate. We do all of our own die making, we do our own printing, and we do our own die cutting. This also means that we can custom make any die-cut shape in a short amount of time.
All of our die bases are laser cut and all die steel is computer bent for complete accuracy.
Letterheads also recieve a discount, for visitors the discount is 5% off of any size order, you simply need to enter the code "letterheads" (no quotes) For residents we offer a 10% discount off of any size order, please email either myself at sales@signshapes.com or Steve and Barb for the coupon code to enter.
Well I don't want to ramble on, if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to call at 314-713-3491 or email me.

Looks great Shawn!
Will you have a brochure or catalog we can order?
Posted by Shawn Setzer (Member # 426) on :
Hi Glenn,
Yes we do, our catalog consists of only a few pages with an order form, we are currently building a page for folks that do not want to place an on-line order that will be linked to our home page that they will be able to print out and mail in.
Sorry that was one thing I forgot to mention
Also you can sign up for our newsletter on our home page that will be sent out monthly with new coupon codes as well as promotions we will be running throughout the year.

To Shawn: This sounds cool, a well researched venture is exciting. I hate to be s-l-o-w, but exactly what are these "shapes"? Are they metal, plastic, flat or with a frame? I once made an "open" sign for my shop. I had enough positive responses, that I thought of mass producing them. Would you custom manuf. as low as 50 or 100? Are these molded, or cut with a tool? It's not anything I can do right now, as I'm "tied-up" in another venture (adventure?). Just curious, Jim.

Hello Jim,
They say a picture says a thousand words, so maybe this will help:
What we manufacture is die-cut Coroplast sign shapes, as well as custom shapes as Amy posted above. On any quantity over 500 there is no die charge, under 500 the die charge would depend on the shape needed.
We also carry a line of frames for the shapes that includes Quick Frames, Step Stakes, T-Bar stakes, and Whisker Frames.
We are also in the process of tooling for a new line of sign frames that will be for these shapes as well as larger corrugated plastic signs.
As far as other materials, we are testing the best die materials for magnetic as well as aluminum stock, these will both be availiable in the near future.
