Thanks for all your kind words. I'm pleased that Steve liked the panel. He gave us a call when he received it, and as a result, I was able to make a new friend.
My fulltime signmaking days ended after after my second heart attack in 1994. Barb kept the business going for another year to honour our lease obligations, but it was brutally clear that this phase of our life was over.
During a heart attack, blood flow is cut-off to the heart tissue beyond the blockage. My heart operates at about 20% of a normal heart. Simple tasks like standing or putting on socks are a real chore.
I have been making an effort to paint more the last couple years. It's fun, but I can only work for a short time before taking a break. I'm thankful to still have something I can share with new Letterheads at live meets.
One of my goals this year is to learn more about pictorials and fine art painting. Those of you who are masters at this can expect to have me breathing down your necks.
