The time has finally come where I must look at buying a small printer for my business. The Roland PC12 looks like the type and price tag that I think would suit. Has anyone that owns one had any problems with these machines?. Any replies would be appreciated.

The PC12 is a great LITTLE tool.....good for stickers/decals. You'll quickly wish you got a PC600.....much broader market.....but the PC12 is a good "starter".

No, NO, NO, and NO!!!!!!! Run, don't walk! Stay away from the PC12... I had one, thank God it was a factory installed demo, removed it, reinstalled a new one, couldn't wait until it left!!!! Neat idea, but... If I were you, buy a pc60 or pc600 or better yet, take the plunge and go for a Soljet... The PC12 is a toy compared to anything else and it doesn't cut well and the printing on anything over a foot in length is pathetic at best! It cost us over $400 for 3 months in supplies (ribbons mostly) on jobs that we barely produced in time for our customers...

Thanks Eric, you've really got me worried now. I haven't bought yet, so I'll put your comments to the rep.

David,
I don't know about any of them but thought you might want to check the classifieds. Richard Doyle has a PC-600 for sale with some supplies for $6500 US (1 year old).
