Hi everyone,
I bought the Camm 1 and decided to try cutting from Corel instead of purchasing CoCut. I followed Dave G's Tutorial on setting it up...so far so good. The only question I still have before I try cutting is do I need to set the protocol between the PC and the PNC-1100 (stop bit, data bit, parity, baud rate and handshake). The user's manual says yes, but I'm using a parralel port to LPT1 instead of a serial port like the manual discribes. Thanks,
Terry

Hi Terry...Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier. Things have been hectic here. If you are using a parallel port you do NOT have to set parity, stop bit etc.

The main consideration is that you follow all the instructions that I suggested for the PNC1000. The settings are identical for the PNC1100. Use print preview also...the image in print preview MUST be identical to the image on your Corel page and everything will work. Also, if you are using Win XP, be sure to assign no fill and use the hairline outline colour to remember what colour vinyl you are using. In Win 95/98 you can assign a fill but still need a hairline outline.
