This morning I was looking for some photos and came across the pictures that I had taken at the Kansas City Letterhead gathering in 1985. Remember that hot, sweaty shop and sign folks pressed together like sardines? Among the many memories that filled my head this morning was one that I wanted to share on this BB - especially for Kim Zanetti.
I came across a whole bunch of people that surely did look a lot younger then.
The first photo is Ellis Doughty lettering the window at Ron Overby's shop, but if you look closely you can see Al Zanetti on the other side watching.
Kim, I hope you enjoy the memories.

Raymond,
Thanks so much! I have many, many pictures that my dad took at meets but since he was the one lurking behind the camera, he's not in most of them! I truly appreciate the time taken to post them.

Boy do I remember that shop, and I think I know where I was standing when two of those photos were taken I think that is my ear in the middle one). I will look for some of mine as well, there are so many Lettterhead photos that they are just buried. Thanks for the memory Ray.

Kent - I think that most of them are buried under the bed in my office!!!! Seriously, my father had boxes and boxes and albums and albums full of photos from meets. I wish he hadn't had such an affinity for slides. I'll dig through some more and post when I have a chance.
