Well, I received my panel today and ecstatic would be a good word to describe my mood right now. I'm blown away by DeWayne's efforts on this and since the photo Terry has is a little small and blurry, I'm going to post a few detail shots. I'm sending a more personal thank you to DeWayne, but I just had to show off his hard work a little better!

Here's what Ryan Young was talking about - shadows on every stripe!

Thank you so much!

Whatta terrific peice of work!

DeWayne is quite a phenominon actually.
His ability to paint detailed and microscopically has always left me dazed in awe.

Check out how neat his signiture is also.
I just love it.

At the Lucky 7 meet, I asked many to personally autograph my sign kit. DeWayne surprised me with a teeny little, perfectly executed, version of my logo's "JB" gal. To get a good view of it, one needs a magnifying glass. But it's right on!

Beautiful work indeed Bob.
I really did think it was true caning when I saw it. Thanks for sharing some close ups!

It always amazes me how anyone can spend the time to be so perfectly accurate.

I met DeWayne at Paul Quins shop and he is one of my favorite peaple I have meet in this type of buisness. He was very helpfull with any questions that I had. He was working on a toilet seat at Pauls that had caning on top but you could see through it to the bottom of the bowl. He is one of the coolest guys out there. I dont want to swell up his little head but he has'nt replied to any of the earlier post about his panel. He must not be droping in regulary. If you are, the above is a lie and I was offended by your hillbilly jokes you stuck up little yank. Yee hawwwww the south will rise again DeWayne !!!!

Fantastic! But is the cane really painted? You'd have to be a little touched Mentally to have the patience to do that. Lol

Wow!
we should have a contest to try and guess how many lines had to be painted for that panel ... then again I wouldn't have the patience to count them ... makes me dizzy just thinking about it.

That is some "jaw-dropping" work! And it only took 25 hours? Like Tony, I hope he did a "step by step"!
