after upgrading to 1.56 i cant work on old files and save changes.i checked propertieson each file and now there is a check in read-ony box.after un-checking that box i can work on file and it will save changes. now does this mean i have to iopen and uncheck some 1000+ files one -by one and do this or can i go somewhere and do em all at once?..anybody know where i can e-mail or call a gerber expert that really knows something about these things.theres a lot of them that shouldnt have GERBER TECH tags on there shirts!

Did you recently copy a large number of files from a cd that you backed the files up to? If so then they will retain the read only attribute from the cd and you must select them in mass and change the attributes. Hope this helps you,...

Gary,
Unless I'm not understanding you, I would do a search for *.plt (or whatever extension) from Windows explorer hit Control A to select all the found files, right click on any and hit properties then check or uncheck attributes to choice.
