Ok, Ok, Ok...so I should know better. After all, I'm older than Rixax. A friend gave me a bootleg copy of Corel 11 and I loaded it on my machine. It works very well and I see many features that I would use. But that's not the problem. Now My Corel 9 won't do many of the things it used to. I'm talking about the Photo-paint /Draw interface, I guess. I was able to put a foto in PP and clip it, adjust it and then bring it back into Draw for assembling with type and design elements. 9 just won't let me do much of anything. So I re-installed 9. It didn't fix it. So I uninstalled 11, with no change. So I installed 9 again. Still no change. Help! What the heck did I do?

Serves ya right.
Uninstall both programs.
Then go to "start/run/regedit".
In the "Registry" window, there should be two columns.
The first thing you want to do is to is go to "File/Export" and export a duplicate of your Windows Registry. This is in case you screw something up, you can bring back your original Registry.
In the left column, look for "My Computer/HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Corel".
Delete the "Corel" entry.
Do the same under "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Corel.
Close the Registry and reboot your computer.
This should allow you to install your original Corel 9.

Actually, I've run into the same problem in the past. The strange thing is that it doesn't happen on every computer.

What a treat it was to see the name Barlow on the BB!!! Jer, it's a real delight to see you here and thinking about all the wonderful perspective you have to share. I hope Glen fixed your Corel problem. Did you ever find an answer to the ghost marks from the stabillo on the black plexi?
