Anyone know where I can get holographic vinyl that is just solid chrome with the hologram look? I have the cats eye and confetti films, but the customer wants the plain stuff with no pattern in it. I have seen in before but never used it and none of my color chip books show it. Thanks!

I think FDC used to make a product that was called "Silver Sheen". It was a holographic film, silver and then reflected the spectrum. There is a tooling mark every do often due to the process used to make the film. Otherwise it is solid without the other spangles.

Crown Roll Leaf, Inc. makes a holographic film called "Electric Waves". It is just the colored holograph across the film, every so many inches. Is this what you mean?

I usually get it from Beacon Graphics in NJ (www.signmaking.com). I think it's about 40 bucks for a 24" x 25' roll. I use it mainly for outlines, and it is not reccomended for long-term outdoor use.

Thanks guys for all your help. Jeff, that's exactly what I am looking for, and "used to make" is the correct term, I couldn't find it anywhere. Doug, I just checked the Kapco website and that stuff looks to be the same thing. Another problem solved......Thanks again!

Mike
Give Earl Mich in Chicago a call, what you are looking for is called Spectrasheen.
