I don't think she'll be back antime soon. The medical problems have deepend by quite a bit. She's fighting anorexia, siezures and trigeminal nerve damage. She doesn't get out much at all except for when one of us drives her. She has one fireams board where she posts once in a while, but not like the old days. You guys would absolutely not believe her knowledge of ballistics, casting and reloading. She hasn't touched a chisel or a rifle for many months now. Both Mom and Dad spend a lot of time researching clinics that might have an answer. She's home in Lost Prairie every weeknd and her husband takes care of her in town during the week. She can't be left alone for a minute anymore. Hope I have better news for you next time. She deserves a break. And she says to tell all of you "hello and don't worry about me". Yeah. Right.

Latigo,
Though I have never had the opportunity to meet you or your family, my heart saddens for Rosemary. Such a young girl just starting a wonderful life should not have these set backs.
But just having phone conversations with your Dad gave me the sence that your family is one of good souls. And tough ones too! lol.
I do pray for healing for Rosemary, strength & patience for you and your parents.

It took me a little bit to get my composure to write when I saw this tonight, so sad, but there is always hope that things will turn around; my prayers are with you more than ever: your entire family. It's in "His" hands and always has been, and although we don't understand why these things occur, we can try to work with opening our hearts to a greater knowledge as to have faith that something good will come soon, as I pray for that for you. Your family has been wonderful to me as others, and has made a special place in my heart long ago, with the letters and posts, you are like family. Godspeed a miracle to you, Rosemary, Pierre, Latigo, Lynn.

Latigo, Thanks for the update. Rosemary and your dad have been very special people to all of us here and we hope she comes thru this OK. My daughter has an eating disorder and I know what you're experiencing. It's far more prevalent than most of us realize, and if anyone in Letterville has any questions about this very serious problem, please feel free to call and I'll do my best to let you know what I've learned about it.

Latigo, my impression of Rosemary has always been that she is one TOUGH cookie. I've not wavered on that view, and stand tall in knowing she's gonna lick this stuff. She's stronger than "this thing", more so than she may think she is right now. I'd like to remind her of that. I'm pulling for her, as are so many, and wish her all the good health and happiness she so much deserves.
It's wonderful that she has such loving people caring for her. She's won many hearts here in Letterville, and we look forward to her "spunky self" back here soon! We are missing that around here.
My best, Nettie

The power of prayer from many people is awesome. Please consider putting your efforts forward for this common cause. No religious boundraries or idealogies should stand in the way of something so right.

Wow, that's truly depressing. I have not been at this board for some time, since the initial announcements of Rosemary's plight, and this is NOT the report I was hoping for. This isn't funny any more Rosemary.
Seriously, this is past the point of being a freak 'thing' that she'll bounce back from quickly and unscathed. I'm officially sad and scared. My religious beliefs hold that in God's perfect plan there is no sickness. My prayers will be to affirm and glorify Rosemary's perfect wellness that already exists and is her birth right. I see her as whole and dynamic, fulfilling a high cause. I couldn't begin to imagine why this is all happening, but I am certain it is part of a devine plan, that the plan is for some good purpose we cannot comprehend on a conscious level, the meaning of which will be revealed later. The fact it is happening to such a bright star is particularly alarming. It will be a bit of a struggle, but I will strive to see only the light. Shine on Rosemary. God bless.

Wow!! You guys are just too, too much! I really DO feel much better after reading something like this! Please don't worry too much about me. Dad and Mom are sure to find an answer before too long. I'm on a "notify first" list with 3 different neuro-clinics for any new procedures, so one of them is bound to find something, no? I'm 10 days now without a siezure, so maybe the last procedure worked for that part at least. Its true that we haven't had much of a marriage so far, but I just know that there is a light at the end of this tunnel. He's very patient with me and doesn't complain at all. I know its hard when someone has to be with me 24/7, but between Paul, Mom, Lat, Liz and Dad, they take good care of me and I have nothing to really complain about.
Hey!! Lat has a girlfriend! Liz came along right after Lat turned 22! Can you imagine a guy waiting THAT long for a very first relationship? Lat did. He knew what he wanted and waited, and I'm glad that he did cuz Liz has it all! She is SO cool. AND........she makes him behave!! hehe
Thank you all again for your wonderful posts. I do miss being here, but its really hard for me to post anymore. Just looking at the screen for any real length of time starts migraines that sometimes take an IV to stop. They'll find an answer. I do believe that. I have to believe that, no?
Love you all!!
Rosemary

Rosemary: I have had you on my mind every day since Lat wrote the update, often several times. I have envisioned how it must be for you personally and your loved ones who care for and watch over you. I have simply not known what to say.
I have bouts with tic doloreux with my trigeminal nerve and a minimum of one migraine a week, this has gone on since my teens. Before Imitrex I just lost the days to my headaches, I have a forest green bedroom that is totally dark. So I have a touch of personal understanding, that goes beyond just knowing that you suffer unspeakably. I believe in and have experienced the power of prayer, it is monumental. I want everyone who reads this to pray for you, no matter how they feel about prayer. That does not matter. Just pray to something larger than yourself. And yes, I believe like you do that there will be help for you, either medically or it could be a miracle. They happen too. And for your brother Latigo, I think he is special, as are you, and deserves the best. What you told us about him is sweet and really good news.
