How about them Buccaneers!!!!! I live less than a mile from the stadium and hear the horns honking after wins. I was at the game last week when they dominated the 49ers. In the morning I'm going to cut some 2 foot letters to put on my truck. GOOOOO BUCSSSS!!!

The Bucs and the Raiders. Sounds like it should be the Pirate Bowl instead of the Super Bowl. [Big Grin]

IAM A STEELER FAN....1st, green bay, philly. when i lived in sarasota and up to last year, i put the bucs up there in that list. but they P.O. me last season with the firing of toni dungee. he had them in the playoffs last year and if the a**hole owners woulda left him....they would still be where they are today, DUNGGEES WORK brought them here, NOT GRUDEN!!!!!!! so iam rootin for OAKLAND, for that reason.

Don't know who you're talking about Joe. The coach of the Bucs last year was Tony Dungy. He did build a good foundation, but we needed somebody to put the roof on. If he was still their coach they would have been maybe 10-6 and out of the playoffs. If they had made the playoffs they would have lost their first game 41-0. Great guy, I love Tony, but he could not or would not put any effort into scoring points. Chuckie is a hometown guy and can really motivate this team. Sorry Raidernation, the good pirates win this one.

I liked Dungy too ... as Dennis says, he did lay good groundwork. Decent guy, and a class act.

From what I understand, our defense has always been good, but our offense needed help.

Gruden came in and made some changes.
Filtered out some players, and brought in new blood. I think he breathed new life into the team spirit too. Gave the team attention where it was needed ... and, well .... HERE we are!

I thought it was very classy of Gruden to graciously give credit to Dungy, and share the glory as he did.

How 'bout dem BUCS!!!!!!
Any guesses on what we'll be doing Sunday night?

Congrats to the BUCS fans!!

I'm looking forward to Tony Dungy building a good foundation here in Indianapolis so the Colts can fire him and BOOM SUPERBOWL.

The 41-0 loss to the Jets is a disgrace. Our team is sooo soft. Tony D. is Mr. Wipple.

GO BUCS!!!

I guess this says it all about our team

Subject: My Daddy Is ...

A teacher asks her second grade students to stand up and tell what their
fathers did for a living.

The first little girl says: "My name is Mary and my daddy is a postman."

The next little boy says: "I'm Andy and my Dad is a mechanic."

Then one little boy says: "My name is Johnny and my father is a Striptease
dancer in a cabaret for gay men in the French Quarter."

The teacher gasps and quickly changes the subject, but later in the school
yard the teacher approaches Johnny privately and asks if it was really true
that his dad dances nude in a gay bar.

He blushed and said, "I'm sorry but my dad plays football for the New Orleans
Saints and I was just too embarrassed to say so."

I hear your pain Mark, It's unbelieveable that 2 big dings in the Buc's armor were made by a team that didn't even make the playoffs, mostly becaus e they just quit.

Once again Joe, I don't know who you're talking about. Jon Gruden came home to get away from the loon Al Davis and Chuckie has made a big difference in the team. We aren't at home, we're in San Diego. Tony is at home with a very good offense that was shut out in its playoff game. Oakland will get a lesson tomorrow.

Hey Joe it's halftime, Chuckie 20 Alvis 3. I'm sure Tony is home in Tampa cheering for his Bucs. I'll be at Ray Jay tomorrow to see the boys with the Lombardi trophy.

I've gotta confess I don't know alot about football. It's 3rd quarter and the score's 34 to 3 Tampa Bay....so any of you experts know what the score has to be to be considered a blowout?

I wasn't expecting a route like this.

They're really makin' this look like "Child's Play".

How about that? Horns, fireworks and people yelling all over the place here. Defense does win championships, especially when the defense outscores the #1 offense 21 to 15. Their other td was special teams.
