Just got my new phone directory and of course I head directly into the sign company listings to see who's new!
Got a huge giggle when I saw that a long standing ladies clothing store has added signs to their product line calling themselves "Something" Fashions & Signs.
Anyone else see any odd couplings with a sign company!?!?

Had a "xxxxxx Budget Signs and Cellular" open down the road a few months ago.
Can't comment on thier work cause I haven't seen it ... the combo just struck me funny.

Had a car wash and auto detailing place go into the sign business too....it seems they had lots of requests for windshield lettering so they got a program, etc.,etc.,....you know the rest of the story, right ? Posted by mike norcross (Member # 3496) on :
Wow Thats a good one, i think somebody you start a house of ill repute and signs that is about as funny as this is. When i moved to this small town in wyoming i was the only sign painter. Now all the printshops there say and signs. So i thought they sould have some of the expenses seeing they were getting most of the work like a kinko store, so i sold them my plotter and program, and went on vacation. And started having a good time, now their the ones with no work for signage for the winter months lol. Mike

There was an older gentleman I knew who had a combination barber shop/sign shop attached to a country-western bar in Eagan, MN. Real hand lettering!
