I've seen a few posts regarding how great the Mack Brush waterbase paint brushes are.
I want to order a few of them, but I wanted to see what ones you think get used most? The Lettering Quills show as series 2179, 2962 One Stroke, and 2838 Outliners. I was thinking of "playing around" with them, but was only going to order one of each (maybe two).
Would sizes do you use the most? I don't plan on painting anything too small with great detail.
Thanks for any suggestions.
AMENDED: Where can I order the waterbase brushes from? I don't see where you can order them through the Mack website, and I can't find any distibutor website listed that offers them either??

You just have to call them up and tell them what you want... if you need prices on anything I have the Mack catalog and price sheet sitting right here.

Randy, You can get them from Canadian Signcrafters Supply out of Bayfield, Ontario.
The John Hannukaine Series, green handle, nickel round ferrule, come in a set of 6. Tiny to about a #12 equivalent in a showcard brush. They are fantastic in either oil or latex, have yourself a set for both.
and.....your dollar goes w a y farther!

You can also get them from laserlines.com but they are not on their website. They are merchants here as well.

Most of my work is done in Mack's Series 2179 - #6 and #10, and outlining with Series 2838 - #4 and #6.
They are also available from Rhino Paint Company (Gary Anderson) 812-332-2033.
My commission check from Rhino at the end of the year should really be a good one!
