BUT.........somewhat short notice for proper preperations on this one.

Well Duckie, you will be the one we all talk about
if you don't show. It is rather short notice.
But, its only two hundred or less miles for me,
guess I'll be there.

This is everything that I have wanted to learn about but like some others it is not only kinda short notice but its opening day of deer season and I thought about going out this year. We'll see though. I'll check and see how long it would take to drive or fly if the weather is good.

I'm dying here! Car is in the shop, can't take the van or it will leave Lloyd stranded. Sounds like a really good one. Have fun.

AwwwwwwwwwwMan! Wish I'd known about this sooner. Still may try and make it. Donny Pavolini just let me know about it less than 30 minutes ago and we're gonna see what we can do to get there. Not gonna swear I'll be there, but workin on it! If not, have fun!!
See ya,

I mentioned this to my husband but didn't even get a grunt. So I started checking commerical flights but couldn't find anything in my price range-cheap. Driving in the car is out of the quesiton. Then tonight my husband comes in and tells me that he has been checking the weather to see if we could fly down in our plane. Unfortunately AGAIN the weather isn't co-operating. I am still praying that God will make a way that we can come down.

It's only a couple of hours from here....but I've got tentative plans, if they don't pan out I might make it Saturday.

Close, but no cigar. My son's HS marching band will be trying to win their 3rd straight marching band competition.

Garry's doing his flight plan so we will be leaving shortly. I covet everyone's prayer first because we need them, sceond because we have never flown our plane this far, and third because the wind is blowing in the opposite direction and the trip would normally take 5 hrs but with the wind blwoing the way it is, it might take 11 hours..

Well.....sorry to say I'm not gonna make this one. Just too busy and not enough notice in advance. Maybe next time. Hope you guys have a blast!! [Smile]

Boy Steve you missed a good meet. Don't wish that we had more room in the plane. We got to Franklin, Indiana at night and had to get a room. The next morning it was raining too hard to fly to the meet or fly home so our choices were stay in the hotel for 3 days or drive to Miss. It took us 12 hrs to drive down and 11 hrs to get back to Indiana. But it was well worth it. I learned so much and the coca cola museum in John's house was something else. Thanks John.

You and Gary are real troopers Laura. Your determination to learn, whatever the price, is something to be admired. Did anyone get any photos? We want to know more about this meet.

One thing we know for sure. Now that John has discovered Letterville, everyone will know about next year's meet well in advance.

Our digital is in the shop and no one else had a digital. John took plenty of SLR pics-some took video. Garry spent most of the time with the ShopBot rep and the CNC machine, I jsut took everything in.
