Thanks Bob..Still using ver 4.7 here..online banking said to not use 6 so I kinda got into the "herd" mentality of using IE. I'll download and install it, since I am going thru an overhaul of the main puter and the laptop this week.
REMEMBER TO BACK UP YER FILES FOLKS...AND IF YOU DO IT ON CD PUT THEM IN A SAFETY DEPOSIT BOX AT THE BANK OF YOUR CHOICE!!!
Just a simple suggestion!

If you're on Mac give a try to iCab <icab.de>.
With icab you could filter the ads and pop-ups

Michael, by how old of a machine do you mean when you say not install Netscape 7 on? I have a 1ghz Windows ME (yes it sux!!!) PIII with 384 megs of ram. Just curious. I hate IE, when I downloaded IE 6, it got so many stupid little background programs running that it bogged down my 'puter. Tried to go back to 5 and it wouldn't let me. With IE 6, even after you closed out IE, it would still be sending and receiving data. It kind of made wonder what kind of spying software I had downloaded with IE 6.

Well Bob, you've been using it for over a month now and I was looking for more input regarding the upgrade to 7.0. How do you like it now? I finally loaded it on my pc at work and I like it so far, but this is only my second day using it. It appears to be a lot more stable here compared to version 4.7. I also like the appearance of easier security and privacy control as compared to IE.
Thanks,
Checkers

Brian,
Still loving it here. I think it it would be better even in XP, but I haven't put it on the XP machine yet.
