Some of you may recall several weeks ago I wrote about the guy who "compared" my quote on a carved sign to that of a former sign-carver who has since become blind. When I came back from Europe this week I had a message from him - apparently things didn't work out after all, and they want me to do their sign ASAP! Needless to say, there's no possibility of any "discount". We signed a contract today, and there will be a deposit check on Monday. God I love it when dinks like this end up eating crow (and writing large checks)!
