Hi- I'm looking for the paint used to make any surface into a chalkboard, but I can only find it in spray form. I'd like to be able to brush it on. Thanks for any leads!

Jerry, I have used Crayola brand with success & it comes in quarts. I have seen it in many paint stores. Good Luck, Jeff

Benjamin Moore makes it for Crayola...see if you have a BM dealer near you.

i use a solvent based chalkboard paint made by Kemp. I get it from Product Sign Supplies. I'm not sure if its longer lasting than the Crayola paint, but i feel safer using it for exterior applications. it comes in green and in black.

Last time I was in Wal-Mart they had new quarts by Krylon (or maybe it was Rustoleum). Anyway, some was latex enamels and they had their version of chalkboard paint. Haven't tried it so I can't say if it's any good or not!!
