Well it's official.... the deposit cheque is on the way.
That means we are off to Edmonton for the next 10 weeks or so. (until Christmas)
As usual (for us in Edmonton) we will be spending our time in the world's largest shopping mall, West Edmonton Mall, in Galaxyland, the theme park specifically. This time we are working on smaller projects, finishing a bunch of stuff we didn't get to finish last time around.
The crew will be much smaller too, like the pieces we are building. Our work will keep us in the park this time (last time we could be found just about anywhere in the mall as our projects were far ranging.
It should be fun, to see folks we haven't seen for a while. I'm already dreading the cold of winter that Edmonton is famous for. The good thing is that all our work will happen indoors... this place has to be seen to be believed. The theme park alone is about five acres INDOORS with everything from rollercoasters (two) to a train ride and everything imaginable inbetween.
And thats just the start of the mall, its a mile long and four blocks wide. A city really under one roof. Over 40,000 people visit on a typical day.
Anybody in the area is welcome to drop by for a visit. Our 'shop' will be right beside the TWISTER ride, and we will be found somewhere between the kiddy's bumper cars and the new space shot ride as our projects stretch out over that 200 yards or so.
We'll be going 10 hours/ 6 days a week on this one.
See you at the mall!

Look forward to seeing you Dan. If you have time I'll pop for a burger at Johnny Rockets :)They have onion rings now and they're yummy. If ya need anything plotted, screened, routed, sprayed or "edged", we're not far away Here's a link to the mall website if anyone is curious about this amazing place. http://www.westedmontonmall.com/home/homepage.asp Cheers, Duncan

The video gives a nice but very brief glimpse. This place is HUGE and out of this world. We worked there for 5 years with a full time crew of up to 22 talented folks and we BARELY touched the place.

Congratulations Dan! Happy for you. Yes that mall is huge, Where else could you go for a ride on a 10 story rollercoaster, then afterwards go on a submarine ride, see dolphins, and after wards maybe an iceskate, and finish it off with a beer on Bourban street?
