Hey gang,
Paint and vinyl on Sintra. I had a less than glossy fade going on that I wanted to clean up. Employee applied and did not deal with the dreaded bubbles. The clear was ONE SHOT UV Speed Dry.

I was thinking about ultra fine grit wet sanding then reclearing....suggestions??

Thanks,
Barry [Confused] [Confused]

You did not say how the UV clear was applied, but here is what I have done. I can use a roller to apply OS UV Clear onto a large panel. You get these bubbles or air pockets that when dry leave bubbles. Before the UV clear dries (which is very quickly) spray UV Clear aerosol over the UV that you rolled on. Knocks those bubbles right out. Also, I've noticed that if you touch too soon and leave a fingerprint, spray again and it will sort of melt, smooth and dry to an even surface.

It was applied with a roller....2 days ago. (I did not think you could GET bubbles with spray...)

Have the employee wet sand it with 400 in the off hours and recoat, probably won't happen again. [Roll Eyes]
