Hey heads!

It's been a little while since I've been on the board but, I have been receivng regular e-mails from a PNORTHROP (i believe the address is pnorthrop@home.com, and which is unreplyable to)
that are very suspicious. I have been getting them at my home and at my employers addresses. My NORTON DOES NOT DETECT ANYTHING BUT, AN UNKNOWN PERSON SENDING A DOWNLOADABLE FILE WITH NOT PERSONAL MESSAGE ATTACHED is a little fishy. Mainly screensavers(which I see as suspicious in the 1st place) and .jpegs. One message says heres a Win patch or such and another one will say "spicegirl jpeg" or such.
The only place I can think of that would give people both my work and home email address is Letterhead and, from past experiences, I know this forum has had problems before. No harm, no foul, my cpu ONCE had I virus that was sent to everyone in my address book and WHAT A BAD FEELING THAT IS TO HAVE.
Has anyone gotten similar emails out there???

PNORTHROP?????????? Are you out there????

We get dozens of them and they come from God-knows-where. I always notice an increase in junk/virus emails after I've been surfing the net and visit different sites. If you don't know who it's from, delete it. I've given up trying to track the "source" because it's fruitless and I'd be spending all day at it.

This morning's mail - 24 messages, 2 were real, the rest were junk/virus.

I think I remember seeing a notice on a website that a "spice girl" virus is making the rounds. Apparently "spice girl" is in th esubject or something.

The ORIGINAL Spice Girl virus was terrible; it infected any girl under the age of 17, making them dance and spout gibberish. Persisted for two years, then went "poof" and disappeared, thank God. LOL [Razz]

Thats it? Consider yourself lucky...

My isp weeds out most of my junk mail, and I have to go in and delete it and pick out the good mail, but I get somewhere around 80 spam e-mails a day ! ! ! [Eek!]

Man do I hate spam....
