Its not a "static-cling" Vinyl but Avery make a paint receptive vinyl especially for windows. It's called "Avery Window Splash Vinyl-matte" and comes in all widths up to 48" wide and is about US$1/yard!
It does not require application tape and can be easily removed afterwards, although it tends to tear and is not "re-usable"
Vinyl dealers in the USA do not seem to list it for some reason, but Pat King located it but asking his Avery Supplier.

Hints: I buy 24" as I can put it thru my plotter either to trace patterns onto it or even cut outlines. If you cut it in the Plotter, do your painting before you weed it.
I tend to do freehand layouts on full width sheets, overlapped 1/2" if deeper than 24" and cut the outlines after I apply to the window. It's easier this way.
Hope this is what you are after ... its great stuff [Smile]
