Is anyone going to the B.I.G. Show in Charlotte this month. Has anyone been before and is it worthwhile to go to it?

I have been to the B.I.G. show in Orlando. FL and I'm sure it's pretty much the same. You will learn alot about the latest technology and products and if you are looking into buying a new plotter, edge printer, CNC router, etc. it is a great opportunity to observe the machines performance. And, you can learn new techniques at some of the seminars. It was worth the trip for me.

I had a great time at the Charlotte show last year. Traffic was high and it was a great opportunity for everyone to learn about a lot of peripheral businesses to signs, as well as see new sign equipment and take classes.
We'll be in booth #604 and we'll have the "Letterhead Clipboard" - come on by and say hello!

We're going. Signed up for a couple of the classes. Really found out a lot of stuff last year. Lots of distributors there too and good deals. It's also nice to actually see somebody face to face there so when you need to talk to a rep or somebody at a distributor, it is a more plesant experience.. We will be exhibiting at the show, I'll be there and would love to meet everybody who's going. You can see first hand how Oracal films perform so well, as well as see our great specialty films.
We are also giving a FREE two hour seminar 5-7PM Thursday the 19th on the basics of color management. It's wonderful for anyone considering getting into digital printing, recently purchased a printer or long time users experiencing color management issues.
Email me if you'd like to attend or if you'd like more information on it. Also information here at the show's website: http://www.nbm.com/bigshow/nc/nc_welcome.html Posted by Raymond Chapman (Member # 361) on :
Just received an e-mail from National Business Media concerning the numbers that have preregistered for my classes and they are up considerably from the last time we were at Charlotte. In fact, they are some of the best we've seen all year, so it looks like there will be a good crowd there.
Even though I am probably just a little biased in my opinion, I think it is a great way to see the latest in equipment and supplies and to be able to compare different companies. The classes offer some very good information, too.
