A customer is bringing me a couple of wood side rails from his truck to be lettered. He plans on putting a coat of polyurethane on them before he brings them in. The first question is how long should I let the poly cure before I apply my paint mask? The second is has anyone had any problems applying 1-Shot over polyurethane? Thirdly any other suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.

2 part or one part uretane? 2 part will cure overnite, one part is really a urethane fortified varnish.....treat it accordingly.
