I am redesigning a shield for the side of a police car, our state (OK) seal needs to be incorporated into it.
Any ideas on how to get the art work on this seal?
It is a circle with a big star and a bunch of small ones too. (red) Who? at the state should I contact?

Jim........

Contact the people you're doing the work for......!!
If they say they don't have it, or can't get it......then you're talking to someone unauthorized to have the work done in the first place.........!!

I've reproduced logos and seals for over 40 years, and if they can't give me their artwork.......they can get on down the ramp.....!!

It's not your job to hunt down their logos and such...........If they want it done .....THEY come up with it....period!!

Hope this helps............cj

ps.........If you insist on doing someone elses job......then try the library, or Type in State Seals, on Google, or some other search engine.

OR..........If all else fails.....and ya still need it.......I'll scan it in and send you one........Hell I'll send ya all of the states if ya want....... [Smile] I have hand engraved several of them over the years.

i was asked to supply a pa. state logo for a notary business card. the logos and all the emblems are listed if you type in the state. they have beautiful clear logos, easy to copy .clear distinctive lines. i am sure they are on the net for every state. [Smile]

Check the state web site, they may have a good one on line.

Since I work for the State of Delaware and have had to do a few state projects, I have gotten the State Seal for either the state sign shop usually Dept. of Transportation or Dept. of Public Safety - State Police.

However, as suggested, all the states have websites and you can pull the seal from them.

Good Luck

Had a guy ask me to do the us customs seal once,
I had it in corel clipart, but I asked him to get me a letter saying he was authorized to use it, he never came back.
We need to be more vigilant on these matters, anymore.
Since sept 11, I would be very careful who I made any govm't seals for.
