Anyone using this. I love the stuff for most wood and HDU jobs when needed. It dries really fast. Problem is, I can't find it locally anymore. I wish to keep using it but everyone is selling Gorilla Glue.

Anyone know if Gorilla Glue dries up fast?

I have tried the Elmers Pro Bond, Some other polyurethane glue that Home Depot had and one other one. All took way too long on the dry time for my liking.

If I can't find Titebond II I guess I'll have to pay double for Gorilla Glue, if it works.

This is Titebonds Info....
Assembly time after glue application 20-25 minutes (70°F./50%RH)

Thanks.

Hi Amy, I found Titebond online for $12.99 for a 12 ounce bottle. I buy Gorilla glue in a 32 ounce bottle for about $25.00 from Diamond Supply. Sounds pretty similar in price. I used to use Pro Bond until Home Depot stopped carrying it. The cheap brand that Depot carries I didn't care for much. Haven't tried the Titebond polyurethane have used their other products.

Thanks Dennis. I saw the $12.99 one you mentioned online. All HomeDepot carries up here is ProBond. It works OK but I really like how fast the Titebond II is ready to go. Used to get it at Lowe's and they don't have it anymore either.

Funny thing is I called Titebond and they told me HomeDepot and Lowes.

Oh well. Thanks!

Amy. I don't blame you for not wanting to give up the titebond. I love it. Lowe's carries it if you have one there. My local bldg. supply also has it so check with those around you. It also makes a great edge sealer for MDO. Easy too!
