What setting should I have for the B&W filter if I WANT the white color to print slightly grey on my printer? It used to do that, which was nice, because when printing color proofs, you could see the white substrate, but I changed them to the settings that were reccommended on one of the Gerber papers that came with the updates. It really depends on your setup. What you will probably have to do is experiment until you have it the way you want it.
