Si.

You sent myself a E-Mail with my Name in it.
I like the outlook....
But you said He!He!He! at the end of the message?

I like the look of it but you never said how you did it!

Any help?

Was this only a Joke to me or some help on how to do this?

Asking!

....Chrome filter w/intense bevel...adjust the lighting, add a dropshadow and voila! You've got the logo in under 1 minute.

Dontcha just love that program Si?

Hey Glenn and Si....

Don't know if you've experimented with this yet, but if you have a shape or logo in Photoshop....and it is selected (marching ants), click on the "inverse selection" option and THEN use some of Eye Candy's functions such as dropshadow, etc.....it will put the dropshadow on the inside of the logo. Some effects will be put on the outside of the logo if it is normally on the inside.

If you want a consistant "fadeout" around a odd shaped object....you select the "inverse" of the normal selection and then select the "gradient glow" feature in Eye Candy, and it gives you a nice smooth transitional fade from the outside edge of the object...inwards....very nice....great for a "neon" look or tubular or rounded edge look.

I need to take the time to figure out how to post stuff here....I work in Photoshop every day.

I am like Adrienne.

Take the word ("WORD")

How would one approach it in the sense of the Effect?

Different Effects(Chrome)(Beveled)(Shadow)(Etc)

I like to see the casting of a simple (WORD)
from all that is using Eye Candy....

Nothing more and Nothing less but the (WORD)

Takers?

By step by step...I mean:

Give us a one step at a time tutorial on creating a cool chrome with bevel.

I have eye candy already.

Some of us (ME) need a bit more explaination.

Thanks!
A:)

Hey Glenn, is there a Photopaint version of 3.1?

Adrienne; Which version of Eye Candy are you running? There are some drastic differences between Eye candy 3 and Eye Candy 4000 (which is vastly superior).

Felix: Eye candy will plug right in to Photopaint, no questions asked. In fact, that's where I run it.

The chrome filter is super versitile, I guess I could write another step-by on it ... but only if you're all really nice to me [Wink] .

Felix,

EyeCandy will install into both PhotoShop and Corel PhotoPaint with no problems.

Hey Glenn,
Whenever I try to download that eyecandy program, I get this:

"Could not initilaize install.........this function is only valid in win32 mode".

How to get into win 32 mode?

What operating system are you using?

win 98

I don't know what to tell you. It should install just fine. When I get home tonight, I'll download it and e-mail it to you. I wonder if the program became corrupt while you were downloading it. Just guessing at this point.

IF YOU HAVE PHOTOSHOP, MOST OTHER SIGN PROGRAMS CAN "POINT" TO THE PHOTOSHOP PLUG-IN DIRECTORY, ENABLING YOU TO USE EYE-CANDY AND OTHERS, WITHIN YOUR SIGN PROGRAM. I DO IT ALL THE TIME WITH INSPIRE.
