I haven't tried the wall dog. I wash my brushes in mineral spirits and then store them in a bath of half mineral oil and half oneshot brush conditioner. They soak in about a quarter of an inch in the bottom of a small cake pan.

;)Hey Rob I've using that for my brushes for years too and haven't had problems yet. during the busy show season theres no time to wash out oil.

Sorry Jon havn't used the walldog oil. I use the Sapphire brush oil(acid free) does a real nice job of keeping the brushes fresh.

10 weight non-detergent motor oil.....if ya wana get fancy move up to 3in1 oil.....nice stuff

Hey Rob, you better read the label on the "One Shot" brush conditioner.It's really only a cleaner& not a conditioner. Storing your brushes in it will damage the hairs. Send me your "snail-mail" address & we'll send you a sample of "Xcaliber's" Brush Preservative. I'm sure be suprised how good it really is.

My bushes are always soaking in Baby oil. Have done that for years.

My"walldog" brushes...Fitches & Cutters are SUSPENDED in Kerosene so the hairs not touch the bottom of the can! Quills,Flats & Outliners in Marvel Mystery Oil Strippers in Sapharrie Oil.
I would like to try that"Excaliber"oil from Mr.J also for my Strippers

The folks that make and distribute these brush oils believe in their product. They've invested in a website and advertise in magazines.
If they are really interested in what Letterville users think of their wares, they should become Merchants here. It only makes sence to promote your product's website where your prospects hang-out.
