Can anyone help me with Font Navigator for CorelDRAW 9.0?

I installed it tonight and tried to start organizing my fonts, but I'm not having too much fun.

I tried copying all the fonts out of the Windows Fonts folder and into a different folder on my C: drive (following the Help directions), however, almost all of them came up with a "Unable to Install This Font" message?

What I was trying to do was load all of the Corel fonts into a folder on my harddrive, but I don't think my brain is processing everything correctly 'cause I can't seem to get it to work.

Can someone explain what I'm doing wrong? I can't get any of them to load and it's driving me nuts.

Thanks for any guidance.

Randy, I may be wrong about this, but I don't think you can copy from the FONTS folder to another folder. The FONTS folder is a system folder with special features. If, however, you drag the font out of the FONTS directory into another directory (Uninstalling the font) and then drag it back into the FONTS directory (Installing the font), you will see that you still have the copy in the other directory.

I have a series of folders right under the FONTS folder. they are named fonts from corel 10, fonts from DNA, fonts from gemini, and so on. I always download new fonts into the appropriately named folder. Then I drag and drop into the FONTS folder to install. The original copy is undisturbed.

Hope this is helpful. Vic G

Thanks for the reply Victor. I actually figured out what I was doing by reading the info on unleash.com.

Very neat program.

Thanks again.
