I have a project for a grocery store that will require some digital images of food for the usual departments of a grocery store: produce, dairy etc.

I am looking for a supplier of royalty free images on CD. Have looked at a few major sites on the net but am not really satisfied w/ the collections. Can anyone suggest any?
Thanks, CS

I did a job a couple of years ago for a grocery store, I used www.photodisc.com for the images. They have a great search engine. You can buy whatever resolution you need. The customer pays for the images.

Warning! I drooled every day for a week while I was working on this project. [Smile]

I use Hemera Photo Objects and have found them to be very good and cost effective.. Staples or the such has the CDs for around $80 for the set.

Curt, I have Clickart 300,000 and Corel Gallery, both of which have photo clipart. Both have excellent vector art, but I am disappointed with the bitmap art. The bitmaps are too small for truly large scale printing.

This is not a complaint,(both were purchased for the vector art) but rather a heads up for you in case you are looking at either of these products.

This site http://www.punchstock.com/store/ looks good but I have not purchased from them.
