Just reading on Yahoo about an explosion in a New York 10-story building... "Sid Dinsay, a spokesman for the city Office of Emergency Management, said the building housed commercial tenants including a sign company ." Thats all it says regarding the sign shop. They did say it doesn't look like terrorist. Explosion

I hope all of those guys are ok. I heard the name of the shop was Cal-Tech or something like that. They had something like 30-50 employess according to the news, must have been a pretty big outfit of course they were in New York, maybe that is a small shop up there?

This mornings news said that they stored 50 gallon drums of chemicals for etching. This does not sound like the average sign shop, but it might make for some strict restrictions for the rest of us.

John,

The spelling is Kaltech, check them out on the web, Kaltech Architectural Signs. Some nice stuff showing on their site.
