I am hoping my friend Greg Sellers will post a photo of the "as the smoke clears"shot of the damage by fire. Thank You Everyone for your show of concern and support over this matter. Thanks to ya'll that took the time to personally call with assistance. I can not stress enought how important as a business of sign making, needs to act like a business, play by the rules, and treat your customers with respect. ie.business lincense, insurance, permits, taxes, deposits, quality products, good designs. You will make more money along with creating a steady customer base. Never mind how your fellow sign artist become valued friends.
OR NOT

Pat ...as a smart mouthed apprentice in his first week of employment...the boss takes me aside and says I want to show you where the fire extinguishers are...I looked around at all the paint stacked up... the thinner saturated wooden floors and the slush pots running over with multicolored paints and as he was standing there smoking a cigarette...I said..."all you need to know about me is be sure your not in the way if a fire breaks out...cause I aint fighting no fires in here" he told me I had a bad attitude but I noticed he kept me around for another 5 years.
Good luck with your new project!

Hi Pat, please add me to the list of people who are ready, willing and able to help in any way. Just name it and I'll do my best.

Pat . .. am putting together a care pkg here today for you so you can at least do a horse trailer or something!! Don't toss the chisels, they can be retempered and new handles and will be good enough for HDU. This is indeed a sad day for Letterville. Our hearts go out to you from my end.

Sorry to hear about the loss. It is a terrible ordeal to have to go thru.
We went thru a shop fire in '94, it was awful. The fire was contained to one main room, but the smoke and water damage was the worst. Fortunatly I was able to salvage some books and stuff.( I ran across an old book last night, and when I opened it up, the smoke smell was still there!)
Hang in there!

Thanks Greg As you can see this was a TOTAL LOSS Thanks for the tip on the chisles John I would have used them on HDU anyway
After being part of,and seeing the generosity of the friendly folk here on the BB and Letterville in general. I am STILL amazed of the amount of people NOT becoming paid up residents.
