Need to refurbish some copper flashing to make like new on some residential entrance signs. Any tricks or hints?

Brass cleaner will make it as shiny as a new tin can, but it will quickly oxidize again if you don't clearcoat it with something.

Go to the household section of the super market and get Copperbrite it think it's called. It is for cleaning the bottoms of copper coated pots and pans. Works great. In my opinion, I would never clear coat copper. It creates more problems than it solves. Sure the copper doesn't oxidize but the clear coat will yellow and crack and then you have a bigger job next time. Just my opinion.
